The Beginning
Well,
I decided to start a blog after playing around with Picasa2. Yes, Google is the next Microsoft. They just keep coming out with more and more fun free tools.
This weekend I'm enjoying the snow that's fallen here. We have about 8 inches here in West Chester, PA; but from the way people were acting Friday afternoon, you'd of thought we were going to get 3 to 4 feet.
People are insane. I left work at 4:30 PM Friday, to go do some laundry. Usually at 4:45 PM any day of the week, the place would be pretty empty. But not this day. No! Instead, the world was coming to an end the next day and people needed to greet God with clean clothes and overstuffed stomachs. Seriously, there were lines for the washing machines and cars were stuffed with enough food to last two to three weeks. Disgruntled, I went home, only several hours later to realize that I would not have been able to get much laundry done without any money in my pocket. Crazy me forgot to stop at the ATM. Although, that probably had a line too! Maybe people thought they could buy their way into heaven.
Oh well. I did the laundry in the middle of the snow storm. There was only one other person at the laundromat. With some determination and a good amount of past experience driving in New England snow storms, I made it home without a problem.
Tomorrow I will do a little biking while I watch football.
Go Patriots!

Hey Phil!
I don't mean to be rude since I don't know you, only a bit sarcastic and funny...but - how can google be the next microsoft (for giving away fun and free tools) when microsoft never GIVES anything away and is such a pain in the ass? LOL I agree, however, at least to say they (Google) are growing and growing and growing and I love them. Apparently I love microsh** (oops I mean soft) because all of my stuff IS microsoft. LOL
BTW, I do like your laptop...and your blog. ^_^
Go Patriots. ^_^
Thanks Stormy!
Well, on a plus side, Microsoft said today that they are going to give their anti-spyware (similar to Ad-aware) for free. I used their anti-spyware beta, and it does have some great features.
Before you know it, there will be Google PC's for sale at Wal-mart. At least, I wouldn't be supprised.
Later.
